David Beckham’s son signs academy deal with Arsenal

david-brooklyn-beckhamArsenal have reportedly stolen a march on their rivals and signed 15-year-old Brooklyn Beckham on a short-term deal.

Arsenal look set to sign Brooklyn Beckham when the youngster turns 16 in March. The 15-year-old, who has previously trained with Chelsea, Manchester United, Fulham and QPR, is a self-confessed Arsenal fan and regularly trains at the club’s Hale End academy complex, also playing for the under-16 team.

Known as a skilful right winger able to take an accurate set piece, Brooklyn is expected to become an ‘official’ Arsenal player for the club’s academy when he turns 16 in March.

David Beckham’s other sons, Cruz and Romeo have also trained at Arsenal in the past year with the latter already being earmarked as a future star due to a series of impressive performances for the north Londoners under-9s team.

Brooklyn isn’t the only famous son playing for an English side with Jose Mourinho’s son Jose Mario now at Fulham having moved with his father from Real Madrid last year.
