United fans produce tribute single to Sir Alex Ferguson to mark his 25th anniversary

Sir Alex Ferguson will have reached a quarter of a century at his beloved Manchester United in November  this year, and to mark that unique feat, the ‘World Red Army’ have produced a new song, entitled ‘Red is The Man’.

United fan Fabrian Goroncy is the lead vocalist on a single that was produced and written by Will Robinson.

“Alex deserves an anthem after what he has done and won for the club since his arrival in 1986 – and Fabrian was the perfect choice to tell the story with his distinctive voice,” said Robinson.

The tune’s melody has come from the popular folk hits, ‘Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond’ and ‘Red Is The Rose’.

I can see some die-hard United fans making this their mobile ringtones.
